Hawaii island sunrise photo session

Are you a morning person? I am not naturally inclined to early mornings, I prefer burning the midnight oil whether its work, socializing or being inspired creatively. However as Iʻve grown in wisdom (aka years lol) there is something incomparable to the sunrise and then add to that a sunrise photo session?! The lighting, the vibe, the calm and peace in nature.....nothing can quite beat it.

This family brought the calm vibes with their little ones and I was stoked to meet them and photograph their beautiful family on vacation. Pretty sure the mamaʻs in this family woke up like this.....I definitely did not look ʻpresentableʻ behind the camera, but HEY itʻs not about me right??

Best thing about sunrise photo sessions (in my opinion/experience):

• Beaches are less crowded

• Cooler temperature

• Usually better for the littlest ones in the group

• That morning light is magnifique (!!)

• Get the photos out of the way so you can enjoy and not worry about getting sunburned the rest of the day ;-)

• Family brunch afterwards
