Sometimes itʻs nice to get off the beaten path and by that I donʻt mean the road less traveled......but rather road less noticed for itʻs charm and unique characterisics.

Holualoa town is one of those places! We got my son's first passport at the Holualoa post office, one of our favorite coffee shops (shout out: WHITE NENE COFFEE). Or the cutest local boutique/gift shop. But donʻt just take my word for it, on your next visit to the Big Island, be sure to check out Holualoa town. Just remember to drive slow, give way to pedestrians and other cars and share aloha always ;-).

I love photo sessions with nature as the back drop but thereʻs also something special to photograph a family that has rooted itself in Hawaiʻi island and has grown to recognize and love the charm that our unique town has to offer ;-).

Iʻve photographed the Park ʻohana over the years and was stoked to get to do so again. One of my last photo sessions before maternity leave kicks in.

I hope you enjoy these street portraits, capturing this beautiful and stylish family cruising around Holualoa town on a regular week day in our beautiful Hawaiʻi nei.
